This and that a week well spent

This week the rain let up!  We went had several lovely days out and around Victoria Park.

Later we went to Roland's parents for Sunday dinner!

The lemons are filling the tree, and the flowers are blooming!

Their fire tree is huge and bright!

The tea tree meets us at the front with delicate pink flowers. The oil from the leaves and the flowers smell so sweet!

 Hamish Relaxing on the veranda

We checked on David's passion fruit.

Wow! We found one!

I took the bus to Cannington and did some shopping while Roland was at work. I like to go in time for him to pick me up on his way home.

The flowers have been so  pretty in the stores!

We had a lovely dinner at our home with Roland's Mom!

Lettuce and ginger pork cups made with  ground pork, onions, ginger, garlic, shredded carrot fish sauce, hosin sauce and a spoon full of sugar. No recipe needed put it in a wok and cook it up!

Summer rolls were really nice, but they took a lot more work and some over night light pickling. I think I can do that for my next blog!
 Veggie Pho
Coconut and lime tapioca pudding with toasted coconut and lime zest!

I am still not used to documenting making food. I get so focused that the idea of stopping and taking photos is just not coming to me!  I hope I get better at this soon!!
